Solihull Photographic Society is a long-established club that welcomes members from the Solihull area and beyond and is a member of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation. We have weekly meetings, except in the summer, with a lively and informative programme of external speakers and club competitions.
All types of still photography are covered, including digital imaging and 3-D work as well as the more traditional prints and slides, covering the full range of subjects. We now have the benefit of a high quality digital projector funded by the Awards for All Organisation, and the Society will use this to introduce the wider community to digital photography.
Many of our members have achieved high awards in National and International Exhibitions and have helped us to enjoy considerable success in competitions with other clubs. Club members regularly get together for trips out, social events and practical sessions.
